The Storms have moved on...for now.

Moving through January. After a solid six days of continuous rain here in LA the sun has reappeared. Storm like this past one that

Angelenos are not too familiar . The San Gabriel mountains in my back yard are snow covered and

temps still low to hold it's beauty. A little drying out is needed for the soggy and muddy foothills around us.

Moving on into new projects and hoping for much creativity. In the mean time I make a little shift in my usual

creative activites both volunteer wise and financially. Looking for new collaborations and inspirations with which to grow. The sunshine this morning brings with it a glow and warmth of color and surprise. Will shall see what the

results will be.

I am the runner in the orange shirt on right #18.
2007 seems to got off to busy start. With various creative projects in the
works and an up coming Gallery exhibit in the Spring. I completed an
open for Zig Zag Productions and A&E in December for '15 Films' which
aired on New Years. Were hoping this series gets picked up.
Life in the balance!

Thankfully the hottest portion of the Summer has passed, after a trek to
the beach for a week we returned to triple digits heat here. Creatively it's
been rather a mixed bag of happenings. I continue to promote my work
with hopes and visions of doing larger format pieces for future exhibits.
I am always seeking new projects and look forward to the opportunities
that come my way.

I played Cameraman/Editor for a musical event in Santa Monica
featuring Jackson Browne, the band Venice, Fred Martin and the Levite Camp. A
benefit for 'Artist for the Arts' to promote and enrich Arts programs
in Public Schools. A very worthy cause that deserves full support. This
event raised 100K.

My New Window!

After many years of working in a windowless TV studio, I now
feel very fortunate to be working in my home studio overlooking my
glorious garden. All the so called pieces of this creative puzzel may
not have yet perhaps come together. If
the so called creative juices are not flowing, I can always
potter around in my garden, look up at the San Gabriel mountains
and be thankful.

What Does This All Mean?

Some of you may be
wandering why I have included the 'Puppetry Page' on my site. As a boy
I was always fascinated by the Theater, Stage and Character
developement, the magic that could be created. In my work I have always worked
with layers of imagery whether found or created from scratch, it is unplanned
and often will happen by accident.

When I was performing as a Puppeteer my performance too were unplanned
and developed as stage and characters were set. It is sometimes difficult to
rekindle this looseness of this having worked in the sometimes rigid daily
grind of Television production.

POP goes the Piper

Thank you to all of you who have ventured into this site.
I welcome you and hope you enjoy viewing my work.
Collage has always been a very important area of my work
both in Print and in Television. I am
always looking at new ways of expressing this art form. I
will be working on some larger format images in the
near future incorporating digital, traditional, found objects
drawing and painting.

Your comments are always welcome.
